Abermawr and Aberbach Beaches: Approx. 2 miles away, these are shale beaches that have sand at lower tide levels approached by footpaths. Abermawr is quite popular for surfers. Although the beaches are not accessible by the disabled there is a disabled access viewpoint by Abermawr.
